Also, we know this is on the mind of many a dealer… are you worried about recent moves from manufacturers, or simply the reality of the changing retail landscape, cutting into your gross profit? One of the neatest things about our event (we think) is that it combines the five industry-leading conferences into one — the Pre-Owned Con, Repo Con and Auto Fin Con (1st Block) and the NRC + NAAA (2nd Block) — and there is something for everyone in each one of these. They cross boundaries between automotive sectors, and in doing so, the week-long event brings all avenues of the used-car industry together. And that’s where the innovation happens.

And keep in mind, especially for our independent and buy-here, pay-here dealers, take a look at the Repo Con and Auto Fin Con offerings, too; there’s plenty you will find relevant and valuable to your business there, as well.

Don’t believe me? That’s ok. Let me show you the numbers. Last year, 10 percent of our almost 1,500 attendees were dealers and dealer principles. Breaking that percentage down, we had 280 franchised dealers on site, and 135 independent dealers attended, as well, for Used Car Week 2017.

The key here is, in our opinion, that computer-based learning (albeit extremely useful), doesn’t always cut it. At the end of the day, even in a tech-forward industry and world, hands-on learning and in-person connections are what makes our biz what it is; especially for dealers.

That’s why we work extra hard not only to bring more of you (dealers) to our events, but to also provide you with the most relevant and productive content for your used-car departments.
